ESAB opened its new Process Centre in China on 20^th Oct., 2011. This is a 2-star Process Centre, its function includes customer support, welding demonstration and welding training. It is a significant sign of ESAB's commitment to supporting Chinese clients and to development in China for long term.

We play a role in establishing ESAB as the global authority in welding and cutting as well as the Chinese markets preferred partner. Our mission is to offer total solutions with high productivity and consistently high-quality for our customers. We have qualified welding engineers with International Welding Technician License can provide professional service to fulfill the requirement from customer.

The segment can be served are offshore, oil & gas, railway, LNG, nuclear, shipbuilding. We also prepared for the opportunities that be raised in wind tower, pipemill, pipeline etc. Currently, our focus is on MIG/MAG, TIG process and SAW process. The welding processes in Process Centre are:

• SAW-Tandem
• Railtrac/Miggytrac-Orbital welding
• Cladding

We will expand our services in the future, to include Process Development, Product Benchmarking, Product Approvals and Event. Through continuous improvement, the ambition is to be a 4 star Process Centre in the future. We promised to provide a completed and professional service across product lines and region to meet the customer's needs.
