2011 Offshore wind tower summit

Purpose: Build upon ESAB's reputation as THE welding authority for Offshore in China.

Summary:
ESAB China attended the 2nd offshore wind tower summit organized by an int'l business consultancy, Noppen on Nov. 10- 11 at YanCheng. This summit enjoyed more than 120 participants from offshore wind tower industry. As the sliver sponsor of this event, Marcel Stemvers, ESAB global energy segment leader, was invited to give a professional presentation "Welding & Cutting technologies for offshore wind installations" on the first day of summit and we had taken this good opportunity to arrange customer visits to 4 local famous offshore wind tower manufactures during our expert's stay in China.

It was a good moment that many important companies were there, so it did make sense to give this presentation at this moment at this event.

After this summit, total 123 pieces of customer mailing information were obtained, which will be added into our offshore customer mailing list.
